We’re back from our annual February closure.    We never left Soldotna but still enjoyed our time off!    Over the years we’ve found that “staycations” are our favorite.    Not the we wouldn’t have liked to be somewhere warm for awhile but that will have to wait.    I’m not a good flyer anyway.

We will be updated our Quick Take schedule in the next couple days.   We will also be adding new photos to our galleries so check back soon.

February

On January 30, 2011, in In Studio, by admin

Well, it’s February again.   For 15 years we have closed for the month of February.   We fix up stuff in the Studio, sleep late, plan for the upcoming year, sleep late, play with the dogs…..you get the picture.

We aren’t leaving town and will still answer phone messages and emails.   But we still have lots to do, cleaning files and catching up on lots of paperwork.   Yuck.   But it has to be done.     At least during February we can look at each other and say, “Hey, lets finish this later and go have lunch!”

One of my goals is to get back to posting on this blog more often.    I’ll be posting lots more photos too.

See you March 1st!

Now is the time to schedule for our December 10 & 11 Winter Wonder Quick Takes.

Dad and son

On November 3, 2010, in Quotes, by admin

A dad was tired of his son’s laziness and said to him, “Son, when Abraham Lincoln was your age, he walked 10 miles to school and went to work afterward.”

His son replied, “Dad, when Abraham Lincoln was your age, he was President of the United States.”

Outtake from Poulin Family session

Little Everett obviously had a great fun time.   Sometimes the outtakes from a session are so cute!

Khloe has been a regular in the Studio from the day she was born.   It’s been great watching her grow up.
